Roll a Fisherman Guides & Walkthroughs
Every core systems guide — from your first Dock placement to endgame Rebirth planning.
Start here
Roll a Fisherman is a Roblox simulation/tycoon by FISH X SPEEDI: roll a fisherman, place them on the Dock, collect fish, move fish onto the Stand, collect Cash, upgrade, and Rebirth. Offline earnings are real, so good setup between sessions matters as much as frantic clicking.
If you just installed the game, open these in order:
- Getting Started — tutorial exit, first codes, early Dock/Stand loop
- Codes Hub — redeem RELEASE, UPDATE1, UPDATE2, GOLD, UPGRADES, FISHING, SEAL
- How to Roll — Spins, hiring, Equip Best, full-Dock strategy
- Fish Income — Stand placement, replacing weak earners, offline prep
- Rebirth — 100k first threshold, observed later costs, when to push the button
- Mutations, Seals, Trading, and Offline Earnings once the core loop feels automatic
Guide index
Getting Started
Day-one walkthrough for brand-new accounts. Covers finishing the tutorial, redeeming Shop codes, spending Spins versus banking Cash, first Gold upgrades (Fishing Speed / Catch Luck), and how to avoid wasting your first 100k before Rebirth. Includes a mid-article video for visual learners.
How to Roll
Deep dive on rolling and hiring fishermen. Explains when the Dock is full, why Equip Best matters after every batch, how Roll Luck Gold upgrades change outcomes, and how to stop Commons from blocking slots that should hold Angler Mia or better. Pairs with the Tier List.
Fish Income
Cash/minute guide focused on the Stand. Learn how fish leave the Dock, how to place and replace earners, how extra fish slots from Rebirth change the puzzle, and how to park strong fish before you log off so offline earnings do work. Includes a gameplay video.
Rebirth
Requirements table from observed play: first Rebirth at 100k Cash for 1.5x money, longer offline cap, rolling luck, Dock expansion, and +1 fish slot. Later observed thresholds (~3.75M, ~150M with squid/orca requirements, ~3B displayed) so you can plan banks instead of impulse-buying mid-tier hires.
Mutations
Gold-versus-mutation decision guide. Covers Mutation Luck, observed trait labels (Shiny, Pixel, Galaxy, Glitched), Coral Zoey’s half-mutation-Gold perk, and when to mutate versus buying Fishing Speed / Catch Luck.
Seals
Seals content wave notes: the official SEAL code (not SEALS), seal feed as an observed system, crates chatter from the same era, and how to stay safe around automation that advertises Auto Feed Seal.
Trading
How player trading fits a 6-player server, scam hygiene, and why trades never replace a clean Dock/Stand loop. Confirms trading as a live feature while flagging undocumented UI details you must verify in-client.
Offline Earnings
Official offline cash rules, Stand-only earning while away, Rebirth’s longer offline cap, and a logout checklist so the board keeps working after you quit.

Progression philosophy
Strong accounts share the same habits: redeem codes early, keep the Dock filled with the best available luck/income units, never leave weak fish on the Stand when better ones are sitting in inventory, and Rebirth on purpose instead of “someday.” Gold should bias toward Fishing Speed and Luck lines before luxury sinks. Cash should bias toward Rebirth thresholds unless a hire clearly beats your worst Dock slot per the tier list.
Servers hold up to 6 players. Use that for light social play, not as an excuse to ignore your own Stand. When a patch lands — especially code waves or economy events — reread Updates then skim Rebirth and Fish Income for any number callouts we flag as observed.
How to use this wiki during a session
Keep Codes bookmarked for new drops. During a grind session, alt-tab to How to Roll only when the Dock is full or Spins pile up. Check Fish Income when Cash/minute feels stuck despite “good” fishermen — usually a Stand composition problem. Open Rebirth when your Cash display enters the same order of magnitude as the next threshold.
The eight systems guides above plus the fishermen hubs cover the complete core loop, including seals, mutations, trading, and offline prep. When a title timer or Discord drop lands, start at Updates then jump to the matching guide.
